Every month three comedians walk into Raffertys Theatre for a whole lot of funny business!

Don’t let the cool weather keep you away, warm the the soul with a dose of comedy with Sydney Comedy Club’s top-rating (and rather hilarious) comedians from home and abroad!

Brett Nichols has strutted his stuff on The Footy Show and The Comedy Channel’s Stand Up Australia, and has entertained Aussie and New Zealand troops in East Timor and the Solomon Islands. His versatility and ad-libbing excellence sees him transfer every show into a night you’ll never forget!

Brett, along with his identical twin brother and partner in crime, Mark, is also an award-winning filmmaker and screenwriter. The twins’ short film Identical was a finalist in Tropfest 2016, while Washed Up, another short comedy, made competition’s shortlist in 2014. They were also runners up at the 2003 IF Awards, being nominated for Best Unproduced Screenplay, for their comedy feature film script Hodads.

Originally from Newcastle now based in Sydney, Alex White has spent the past four years travelling all around Australia and New Zealand, performing at comedy clubs and festivals such as Adelaide Fringe and the Melbourne Comedy Festival.

In 2017 he performed across the USA and Canada and debut his solo show at Edinburgh Fringe which sold out for every show. He’s back in Australia and ready to entertain crowds with his light-hearted observations and upbeat delivery.

Over  25yrs  Jason ‘Rash’ Ryder  has  amassed  a  huge  profile  of live  comedy. Since 1989, Jason has performed at all major festivals including the  prestigious Edinburgh Comedy Festival, Carnegie Hall in London, Yankee Stadium in New  York  and The  Masonic  Hall  in Dubbo!*  Touring  extensively  throughout  regional Australia Jason has twice been nominated for the ”MO Comic of the Year Award”. *Some of these may not be true

Film and television have taken to Jason’s style and talent and look with him receiving well over 100 appearances on Australian screens including guest spots on some of Australia’s most popular shows. Despite his huge and demanding workload Jason has also found time to pen two books Rash’s A – Z of Lying and The A – Z of the Best Jokes in the World (Pan Macmillan) which have both found sales and reached success in Australia and the UK.
