CLIMATE OF FEAR

With daily news headlines about climate change – whether it’s diminishing resources or melting icecaps – bleak scenarios that once existed only in fiction are becoming alarmingly more real every day.

SWF Youth Curator Rameen Hayat joins speculative fiction authors Claire G. Coleman (Terra Nullius), Neal Shusterman (Dry) and Lili Wilkinson (After the Lights Go Out) to discuss writing about environmental catastrophe, and ask what the human fallout might be when dystopian stories come true.

Programmed with the SWF Youth Curators.
