Christmas Cheer

Venue Riverside Theatre
Dates 16 December 2007

Christmas has never before sounded so joyous. Rich male baritones blend with lilting female voices and an accompaniment that is big, brassy and rousing as these two Riverside much loved groups present the music of the festive season: White Christmas, Good King Wenceslas, Deck the Halls, Joy to the World; plus other traditional carols, folk songs, Welsh songs Ar Hyd Y Nos (All Through the Night), Calon Lan and Cwm Rhondda (Bread of Heaven), as well as popular tunes including Do You Hear The People Sing, songs from The Seekers and many other Australian favourites. To hear the Sydney Welsh Choir sing The Hallelujah Chorus is almost the best Christmas gift of all.

This event occurred on Sunday 16th December 2007
