Captivate – Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta Presents

Arts factor dance festival

Featuring guest performance from Phly Crew

The Arts Factor Dance Festival brings together a number of dynamic dance performances from select primary and secondary schools in the Diocese of Parramatta that participated in the CAPTIVATE Dance Eisteddfods in Term 2. This event will also feature a guest performance from the Phly Crew.

Phly Crew is a unique hip hop ensemble founded by James Barry and Neale Whittaker when they were performing together in Luna Park in 2009. Since those early days Phly Crew has grown from dance crew to entertainment company, paving their way with innovative performances that won’t be seen anywhere else. This Australian-based comedy dance group’s name may sound familiar having appeared on Channel 7’s Australia’s Got Talent in 2012 and 2016, Channel 10’s So You Think You Can Dance as well as the Sunrise Telethon.

This will be a great opportunity to share the fantastic creativity of our students alongside the innovative style of Phly Crew.

The Arts Factor Dance Festival is brought to you by CAPTIVATE, the creative & performing arts unit of Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta.
