Alice Walker is an internationally celebrated author and activist and whose many volumes include the Pulitzer Prize-winning, The Color Purple. Alexis Wright is a member of the Waanyi nation of the southern highlands of the Gulf of Carpentaria and winner of the Miles Franklin Award for her novel Carpentaria. They discuss their writing, activism, connection to place and much more with writer Melissa Lucashenko.
