Gigantic inflatable structures that transform public spaces and light up the sky are coming to Parramatta this January. Airvag is a French company that creates stunning installations out of PVC. By day they fill parks and streets with colourful interactive sculptures that delight adults and children alike. As night falls, these beautiful objects begin to glow and sway transforming familiar spaces.
Rave de Grenouilles (Frog Dream) is a paradise for kids of all ages – 1500m2 of structures to be climbed and jumped on, to chase around or just lie on and look up into the sky. This wonderful installation will have pride of place in Prince Alfred Park.
Roule Boule et les Ratatam is the company’s spectacular work which has been seen in cities and towns all over the world. Massive luminous claws rear out of nowhere, while bouncing inflatables trigger confetti explosions as a colossal horn rises up into the night sky.
