For more than 30 years, Beyond the Square has been a vibrant and joyful part of the Riverside Theatres community — a place where creativity has thrived, friendships have blossomed, and meaningful connections have been made. It has been a privilege to share this journey with so many participants, families, carers, and supporters over the decades.
At this time, Riverside Theatres will not be offering Beyond the Square in 2026, and the program will be paused for the foreseeable future. While the program is not continuing in its current form, the spirit of Beyond the Square remains deeply valued.
The Riverside team is exploring new ways to nurture the essence of this much‑loved program into the future, and we remain committed to championing access, inclusion, and creative opportunity across our broader programming.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has been part of Beyond the Square. Your creativity, enthusiasm, and community have shaped something truly special, and we look forward to discovering what the next chapter may hold.
