Parramatta is set to strike a high note as Barbra: The Greatest Star, the critically acclaimed concert honouring the legendary Barbra Streisand’s extraordinary career, launches the 2026 Riverside Live at PHIVE program this month.

The concert, which has garnered universal 5-star reviews is the official opening act at Riverside Live at PHIVE – Parramatta’s all new 180-seat live performance space designed for theatre, live music, dance and community events.

Riverside Live at PHIVE will host a diverse line-up throughout the year, including First Nations performances, theatre, comedy and education-focused productions, with more shows to be announced soon.

City of Parramatta Lord Mayor Cr Martin Zaiter said Barbra was the perfect way to open the venue’s new season of live performance, reflecting the City’s commitment to cultural excellence and accessibility.

Barbra: The Greatest Star is a world-class celebration of one of the most influential artists of our time, setting the tone for an exciting year of music, theatre and comedy in Parramatta’s exciting new venue,” Cr Zaiter said.

We are proud to bring a major city production to Western Sydney, strengthening Parramatta’s growing reputation as a destination for high-quality live entertainment.

We look forward to welcoming audiences from across Sydney to experience the entertaining and engaging program at the City’s new Riverside Live at PHIVE venue in the year ahead.
