The Princess Bride

Venue

Raffertys Theatre

Dates

29 September 2015

While home sick in bed, a young boy’s grandfather reads him a story called The Princess Bride.

The story is a classic tale of love and adventure as the beautiful Buttercup, engaged to the odious Prince Humperdinck, is kidnapped and held against her will in order to start a war. The Dread Pirate Roberts attempts to save her and is joined by an accomplished swordsman and a super strong giant on his dangerous quest.

This wonderful film has plenty of action, adventure, comedy and a wonderful cast including Cary Elwes, Robin Wright, André The Giant, Fred Savage, Peter Falk, Peter Cook and Billy Crystal.
