Riverside and Musica Viva In Schools present
TERANGA WORKSHOPS

Led by charismatic Senegalese musician Pape M’Baye (who has shared the stage with music legends BB King, Miles Davis & Ringo Starr), Teranga will lead students through their percussion-based music, transporting them to a world of West African Storytelling in this interactive workshop.

Participants will experience body percussion, African singing, hand drumming and basic African Dance in this workshop that demonstrates the important role these art forms have to play in West African culture.
