Be inspired by the vibrant energy of our city’s Sydney Youth Orchestra when they perform at Riverside with guest pianist Avan Yu, the winner of the Sydney International Piano Competition.

For 40 years, SYO has nurtured generations of orchestral stars and performed with an energy and enthusiasm which will draw you in.

Hailed as a pianistic force with an astonishing sensitivity far beyond his years, Avan will be performing a world premiere piano concerto written especially for him by prominent Australian composer Gerard Brophy.

Be transfixed by Sibelius’ most popular work, Symphony No.2 and Mozart’s Symphony No.34 in C.
