Vale John Pinder

Riverside is very sad about the passing of the great John Pinder. Pinder was often referred to as the father of Australian Comedy and was largely responsible for the Big Laugh Comedy Festival which ran at Riverside for many, many years. He was a non-performing founder of Circus Oz and was also responsible for bringing The Goodies to Riverside and around Australia.

This is a collection of photos of John Pinder, an extraordinary man who changed comedy in Australia and for many Australians in so many ways. He was also the Festival Director of Big Laugh Comedy Festival at Riverside 2001 – 2007.

Sadly Pinder passed away 27 May 2015.
